Dear ESLT Supporters,

We have recently completed our largest land conservation agreement to date!

Landowner Bill Bramlette and ESLT Lands Director, Karen Ferrell-Ingram signed the final documents to record the easement on Bill's 900-acre property earlier this month.  This easement will permanently preserve the incredible wetlands, meadows, springs and wild lands found on the property.  Sustainable grazing will continue and the scenic vistas enjoyed by so many travelers along Highway 120 will be maintained.

Through funding from the Sierra Nevada-Cascade Conservation Grant Program (Prop. 50), Defenders of Wildlife, and the California Council of Land Trusts, along with support from our generous members, this project will be a great benefit to the region and its inhabitants.  Finally, we have been privileged to work with a wonderful landowner who believed in preserving his land for future generations.

Look for upcoming special events celebrating this great project in the spring!

Once again, thanks for your partnership to make projects like this possible.

Sincerely,

The Staff at the Eastern Sierra Land Trust
