Join Bill Walton and other ESLT riders as they pedal along one of the most incredible and scenic roadways in America - the 23 mile June Lake Loop.
“This terrific event brings together all that is right in the world and life: the magnificent Eastern Sierra, health, sport, the team, riding our bikes with purpose and passion, and the chance to make a difference in all of our futures,” says Bill. “Preserving land forever does really matter on many, many levels. Event Details
The ride will include:
- assistance and support for riders
- a gourmet “feed” station
- a chair-lift ride to a BBQ lunch at June Mountain Ski Area
- a limited edition ESLT Fun Ride t-shirt
- and many photo opportunities with Bill
Check-in from 7:45am - 8:45am at June Mountain Ski Area Parking Lot
9am ride starts
12pm - 1:30pm Lunch at the June Mountain mid chalet
Photo opportunities with Bill Walton will be available during lunch.
ESLT will provide support to speedy riders who wish to ride the loop twice. Any rider not completing the route by 12:30pm will be sagged back to the finish.

The Route: starting at the June Mountain Ski Area parking lot, riders will travel westbound on Hwy 158, the June Lake loop to its north intersection with Hwy 395. The route will then proceed south on Hwy 395 to the south junction with Hwy 158. From here, travel westbound on Hwy 158 to Northshore Rd and follow Northshore Rd west around Gull and June Lakes to return to the June Mountain Ski area.
A break station with water, fruit, and treats will be located at the half way point, the Cain House near the north junction of Hwys 158 and 395. Restrooms will also be located here.

The following are early bird prices! On July 21st, ticket prices increase by $25.
Bike Ride: $100 per person (includes the ride with Bill Walton, t-shirt, break stop refreshments, and chair lift ride to June Mountain for a delicious lunch)
Bike Ride & Dinner: $150 per person
Bike Ride - Team: $375 for five people
Bike Ride - Team & Dinner: $500 for five people
All proceeds from the Lands & Legacy weekend will go to support ESLT’s important work preserving critical lands in the Eastern Sierra.
