We are seeking enthusiastic conservation minded people to devote a year to serve for the protection of Eastern Sierra natural resources and sustainable communities. For this year of service you will receive skills and technical training, mentor with outstanding environmental leaders, and receive an education award at your end of service.
Responsibilities and Projects will include watershed restoration and assessment, environmental education, and volunteer recruitment and support. A small monthly stipend and health care is provided during your year of service.
Placement locations: The position with ESLT is based out of Bishop, CA. There are a total of 27 AmeriCorps members placed throughout the Sierra Nevada region.
